Design your own Iron on labels without background here:

When you enter the width and height, it is the size of the sheet you are defining (see video).

We print your design as it looks and do not change your file. Do you have a file with a background? You can try removing the background with this tool (at your own risk): www.remove.bg.
You can apply your Iron on labels without background with an iron or use a heat press. For best results, we do not recommend lines thinner than 1.5-2 mm.

FAQ

What can I use iron on labels without background for?

Iron on labels without background are a popular solution for both personal and professional use. They are ideal for sportswear, where they are often used for names and numbers on jerseys – and they blend beautifully into the fabric for a sharp and professional look.

You can also use them to add logos to clothing, such as for company uniforms or names on workwear. Additionally, they are perfect for creative purposes – like fun texts on t-shirts or small statements on socks and other garments.

Iron on labels without background function as transfer labels and provide a smooth and professional finish. We always recommend testing first – it is your responsibility to ensure the material can withstand the heat of the iron.

What are iron on labels not suitable for?

Iron on labels without background are not suitable for very smooth, water-repellent or heat-sensitive materials – such as the exterior of rainwear, leather, PU leather or highly elastic textiles. On such surfaces, they adhere poorly, and the label may come off over time. If you want to label rainwear, we recommend placing the label on the inside – and only ironing directly on the label, without touching the surrounding fabric.

If the material is plastic-like or feels water-repellent, it is usually not suitable for iron on labels.

What is the difference between iron-on labels with background and iron-on labels without background?

Iron-on labels with background have a visible base – e.g., white, black, or a color – behind the text, graphics, or logo. The label can be square, round, or contour-cut to match the design, and the entire surface is ironed onto the garment. This type provides a cohesive and decorative look. The label is delivered on a white sheet you must remove before ironing.

Iron-on labels without background – also called transfer labels – are cut closely around the text or logo so that only the elements themselves are transferred to the fabric. There is no visible edge or extra material surrounding the design. This type usually consists of several individual parts, such as letters in a word, ironed on simultaneously in a single transfer. The label sits on a transparent sheet you remove once the label has cooled after ironing.
